Thought we'd share with you a couple from one of our recent newborn portrait sessions. Amy and Blake are one of our wedding couples and we are very honored that they considered us for the portraits of the new addition to their family. Congratulations you two!

Nope, we haven't abandoned the blog. Right now with Thanksgiving coming up and Christmas just around the corner, Cindy and I have been busy little bees. I'll post more soon.

We are having a blast here in the Smokies. Thought I'd share with y'all a panorama shot that I did at one of the overlooks on the Foothills Parkway. The higher elevations received a dusting of snow that looked awesome. Click on the image if you would like to see a larger version of the image.

Cindy and I are heading up to the Smokies for a little bit for some much needed RandR. We're excited about many of the things coming up for the next few months; but first a little battery recharging. It has been a very successful year and even though the news is rife with the woes of the economy, we certainly have not felt it. Thank you to everyone who has helped us make this another fantastic year.

I had a great opportunity yesterday to tag along with Liss and Bill from Liss Sterling Photography on their wedding shoot for Matt and Rose. It was a fantastic day and I really had a great time. Matt and Rose are a wonderful couple and I wish them the very best on their new life together. Thank you Liss and Bill for letting me come along. I had a blast!!

It is Saturday morning about 7:30am and I want you to know that we are putting the finishing touches on Meghan and Josh's wedding book design. I am very pleased with it at this point and I'm sure that you will be as well. Cindy and I have an appointment in Decatur later this morning, but I'll get it completed and uploaded later today. (Barring any unforeseen monkey wrenches falling into the machine.) :-)

Another Saturday, another gorgeous wedding, and another fantastic couple to work with. Cindy and I are relaxing after having the opportunity to capture the beauty and emotions of Meghan and Josh's most special day. The ceremony took place at the Arbor at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens and was absolutely beautimous. We are very pleased with the images we have captured; and here are a few to share with y'all. Check back in a few days to see their initial fine art wedding book design.

Cindy and I had some time Saturday afternoon, so we finally got a chance to see our nephew play football. It is his first year and he's still learning, but I was pleasantly impressed with the little guy. He plays Offensive Guard which will really make his Grandpa proud, because that was his position when he played. Daniel Lee really stuck to his man and made sure his man was not in on any of the tackles.

Football, to me, is a gritty, hard-nosed sport. Therefore, I wanted the images to reflect the grit and physicality of the sport. So no dreamy, soft-focus here. Here's some from Saturday that we really liked. Enjoy!!
